Ethereal Quilt Pattern - PDF Download
Ethereal was inspired by the beauty in a kaleidoscope or stained glass. This pattern allows for playfulness with different color combinations, with bursts of color and light! I hope it brings a smile to your face!
Ethereal is a block based quilt pattern and comes in three standard sizes - Baby (48” X 48”), Throw (72” X 72”), and Bed (72” X 96”). Construction of the quilt consists of traditional half square triangles (constructed using the 8-at-a-time method) while also giving you the chance to try out sewing with curves and templates!
This pattern is rated as Intermediate Difficulty. This is due to the curves and templates used. So if you’re an experienced beginner that wants to learn how to sew with curves, this is the perfect pattern for you! Sewing the test quilt for this pattern was my first time sewing with curves, too! So don’t be intimidated - give it a shot. In this pattern you will also learn how to use spun seams to get a quilt that lays flatter and carries less bulk in the seams.
